I am considering trying Hoodia 57?!

Question:

I am considering trying Hoodia 57?

Has anyone ever used this? If yes, how did it work for you? Just curious as to any side effects and any effects at all.

Thanks

Answers:

H57 is as legitimate Hoodia product (contrary to many others). If I remember correctly the dose of hoodia per capsule is about 200-250mg. I would consider that fairly low as another popular form, DEX-L10 has 500mg and Hoodia 1500EX has 750mg. Definately helped with appetite reducation but I recommend you drink adequate water (thirst is sometimes triggers hunger because of water content in food), follow a healthy diet, exercise, and of course check with a the doc first before you begin a routine.

Contrary to what a previous poster said. The FDA has issued Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines for the supplement industry and has the power to remove anything it sees as unsafe whether justified or not. Take ephedra for instance. Taken with medical approval and accurate dosing, it provided great appetite control and weightloss. However, it was removed. Why? Because the FDA felt that despite the fact that more people overdose on popular pain relievers such as Tylenol, they should remove something that was alleged to have caused several high profile deaths.

So if you have nasua or motion sickness you will not take ginger capsules? If you are on a statin to lower cholesterol and your heart is being weakened as it depletes you of Co-Enzyme Q10, you will not supplement? If you have cancer and require extra calories to prevent wasting during treatment, you will not use a protein or weight gainer?

It is foolish to think all FDA approved compounds are safe. I am disheartend to think of the amount of people who will try the approved weightloss formula only to realize its own side affects. Thats why more people don't already use it. Consider that it prevents lipase from breaking down a significant amount of fat in your GI system. Where does this go? Out with all your other waste. Now imagine the state that most fats are in at body temperature. Liquid, right? Is that pleasant oily discharge worth it? To some maybe. But if I could use something in conjunction with willpower to stop myself from ever putting excessive calories in my body, I would. I think I'll skip those fun trips to the bathroom!
