Which natural herbs/supplements help mental well-being?
I am a strong believer in naturopathic practices, and need some advice with what can help me to stop feeling so mentally down all (most) of the time, as well as help my motivation from becoming non-existent.
Any input is appreciated.

The best thing is a balanced life: a healthy diet free of sugars and simple carbs, protein with each meal, healthy fats, complex carbs. Moderate exercise, enough sleep. Avoiding processed/junk foods.
Chamomile, kava and valerian are calming herbs.
DHEA is a hormone and should be used with caution, as it could cause a hormone imbalance.
A good mix of supplements like omega oils, B vitamins, calcium and magnesium, vitamin c, etc. will be helpful.
