Is an intake of Ginseng tea in the morning and Ginko tea at night going to help !

Question:

Is an intake of Ginseng tea in the morning and Ginko tea at night going to help me and my brain?

I would like to better my mental ability, specially with midterms coming up, and was referred to ginseng and ginkgo biloba. Since I can't pick between the two, and I don't like pills I decided to drink their teas. Would that diet work? One cup of each a day.

Or does anyone recommend either or to avoid taking both?

Answers:

Ginseng and Ginkgo are going to work better TOGETHER than separately. And they're going to work best for about 4 hours after you consume them. No sense taking Ginkgo at night.

Here's another solution to the non-pill thing. Herbs, Etc. makes a liquid extract called "Remember Now" that is alcohol based. You just put the drops in some fruit juice or water and drink. It has Ginkgo, Gotu Kola and Eleuthero (aka Siberian Ginseng) as well as other herbs. You can order it online: http://www.herbsetc.com/shopping/r/remem...

Or you can buy Ginkgo & Ginseng as liquid extracts and make your own combo. The extracts are stronger than any tea you can mix up.
