Coconut oil is very bad for you. The theaters used to use coconut oil to pop the popcorn they sold until about 10 years ago when the group "Science In The Public Interest pointed out the coconut oil was bad for the heart. Then the movie theaters switched to other substitutes to pop their popcorn in.
