How to get the maximum from ginger, without reducing medician proprerties?

which is the best way to consume ginger for medicinal properties, and also by cooking/heating it does it reduce the benefits..?


Answers:

Firstly, do not cut it and put for boiling.
Mash under a metal object in a brass or Steel cup.
Then add a little water while mashing. This ensures that the juice doesn't escape.
Then drop the mashed one( not totally mashed but just a little) into boiling water.
If you feel some fibre is left in the mashing container then rinse with drinking water and add to the other ginger water.
This ensures that every ounce of juice in the ginger is well used. The skin can be discarded using a knife but please don't cut the ginger as , for some reason, that brings down the quality of the juice extracted.
