Can St. John's Wart stop depression effectively?

Oh, and my depression isn't really severe, just some anxiety and sadness. I also don't have health insurance so I can't afford all the doctor and prescription stuff.

it can help, but i find that its a lot of things you need to do to beat it mainly change the way you look at life and the way you live.
most, not all but most sort of get into a rut, they start to lose confidence so they stop going out meeting people, the more they do that the harder it is just to go out.
once they are cut of they just get more and more down and cant see no light at the end of the tunnel.
they need to get out go to friends family's homes just make them self's go out at first its hard but once your out you enjoy your self.
