Paxil and Effexor?!

Question: What is an equivalent dosage of Effexor when you've been on 30 mgs of Paxil? My doctor gave me 75 of Effexor but I don't know if the dosage is the same.

75mg of Effexor is the recommended dosage for a number of different conditions (anxiety related). If you're taking it for an anxiety related condition this dosage is fine.
Recommended dosages of Paxil vary a little more, but generally speaking dosages usually range from 20 - 50mg with 50 being the max for treating anxiety, etc.
30mg is a standard dosage and so is 75mg.
