Question: I think there are more gay population.. in Europe, Americas and Australia and NZ than in Africa and Middle east and Asia.. I would like to know why is that? there are more gays from white race, latinos than blacks and arabs, asians etc..why is that? or Am I wrong?

Oh, yeah, the president of Iran told the world there are no gay people in Iran - they kill them. They are much more tolerant in the Middle East and people are much more open about their lifestyle - not!
Using terms like gay and straight are largely semantics and a matter of tolerance. It is very difficult to gauge the prevalence of alternative lifestyles in other areas of the world for that reason. A gay lifestyle appears more prevalent in the US and Europe because it is tolerated and people are more open. The prevalence of its occurrence is the same all over the world, but people deny it depending upon tolerance level, which is why many people feel it is somewhat genetic.

The general population in any country has the same percentage of gays/lesbians/heterosexual/bisexual people as does any other country.
Whether or not the government of any country recognizes that fact is another story.
Because you will definately be killed in Muslim society if you are homosexual! I think in Middle Eastern and Asian societies it is very taboo to be gay and that is why you do not hear about it. Europe is very liberal about sexuality and America is leaning towards it. You see and hear more because it is more accepted.
I think in many middle eastern and Asian countries it is still very much a taboo to be gay, so it may appear that there are less homosexual people compared to Europe and the states etc. I have no idea of the numbers really so I can't tell you.
I can say though that amongst my friends and acquaintances there are quite a few gay and lesbian people, of all different colours and back grounds, many of them born and raised in Asia.
