Rapid cycling bipolor disorder?!
Question: I am 33 years old and have rapid cycling bipolor disorder...lately i have been awfully depressed not in the mood for christmas i withdra myself alot and sometimes just want to die.Can anyone relate?

I'm bipolar too...and was thinking also.....did you stop taking your meds??? Please call your doctor/therapist and get back on track. I know exactly how you feel. I can fight it because of the meds. The feeling of just not wanting to get out of bed and the dreading of daylight. Please remember that there is help available and new meds that WORK. Just make that call & force yourself to follow through & show up for the appointment. OK? Because you know it doesn't get any better by itself. My entire adult life I've had it and their are many people with bi-polar disorder. Rapid cycling or otherwise. Check out the book by Patty Duke - entitled- "A Brilliant Madness", "Living With Manic Depressive Illness". Please get help, dear & get better!
yeah...atleast with bipolar disorder you get highs..ive just been in lows recently....and christmas aint so special this year for me either....
Did you go off your meds? It sure sounds like it.
yep. I'm almost 60 and have been treated 4 10 years. the meds have saved my life. if u have been diagnosed as bi-polar the doctor should help you get through these trying times
