Answers: Either way - do you think the way you are had anything to do with your childhood enviroment?

My childhood was protected and safe; I never felt in danger of anything growing up, as my parents made sure I always had comfort when I needed it, which built up self-confidence.

So, now, no, I don't feel much fear when outside of my comfort zone. A wariness, to be sure, because I don't know what to fully expect, but not bad enough to give me an ulcer or anything. Slight caution, and aside form that... nada.

Yes and yes.

I was very protected as a child. I even got sent to Parochial school.

yes i believe that leaving yr comfort zone always bring you some umcomfortable, fear and perhaps some excitements too.And yes, childhood environmant do play a part in what you become today, more or less will, yet this is just part of you, still we have the power and will to change and adapt , after all we are all dynamic thinking human, we will change as accroding to the environment!

Yes the way you are taught to do does effect how you will leave your life and how your comfort zone is going to be. You have some thing control and teach you for one part of your life and then the other is on your own and you jump off by what you have learn in the past. Change is good but you need to take baby steps.

Yes, and, just like combating and living, i think the fear is the key of survival, for fear can drive one to stay alert, and to fight back, or attack if necessary. :)

nope, i think it's only human nature.

i brought up in a very conservative family where it has taught that the world is harmful for the girl ............. believe me before 1yr I was the most timid person of my family.. But now i realise by the nature that it's the main obstacle for going a step ahead. & I am going step by step to my goal... I really feel comfort even in the adverse situation.... & I love challenges ........... Now when i leave my comfort zone, i grow more... thus the world become more comfortable .... Good day :-)

Any one answers they have no fears is fulling themselves.
Of course I have fear, but there is nothing to fear but fear itself. My parents always protected me, but, thankfully, they encouraged me to take steps forward. Going away to college, taking a job in another state. Traveling to Europe, etc. Today, I am happy in my marriage and career. I have three different careers, they have all been successful, thanks to the encouragement from my family (environment).
