I feel for u. My niece is also scared of driving by herself and she is 16. you know she is in that age that high school kids want to drive and go out. But she's too scared. My advice to u is the same one I gave to her. Start slowly, you have done a good thing by taking driving classes so thats good. Dont listen to negative comments because thats all you're gonna think about when u start driving. Just think positive about it, dont listen to people that discourage u because then you are going to miss out on the experience of driving. Just dont think about the negative please, enjoy life without fear.

Well first you have to get the storys out of your head. tack it slow go with a freind and dont go that far. Then do like bit more and as you do more and more you will get less scared of driving. also you dont have to go that fast keep your eyes on the road. If you dont do anything but drive with you are driving then you will have a VERY low risk at get in a accident. try to say a way from other cars I know that might be hard but it will work. Try not to be scared when you are driving because then you can get distracked.
so good luck and its ok I did not like to drive when I was abail to drive

Driving is pretty safe. All new drivers are somewhat nervous about driving. The cure is practice and more practice. Perhaps you can find a friend who has a car and will allow you to practice, even if it is on a deserted street or a parking lot. Don't be too concerned about having an accident, even having one won't usually result in losing your license. The more practice you have driving the more you confidence will grow. Good Luck.

just keep driving and you'll get better. whenyour in the car with someone else driving watch them learn from there mistakes and what there doing. you'll be fine dont worry. stay positvie

your license won't be revoked if you have an accident!! That's
only if you are drunk or driving like a lunatic or something..

Stop thinking about having an accident!!!! Concentrate on
driving and make sure you are not eating, talking on the phone or doing anything else that is foolish behind the wheel.

Well, keep practising with the instructor. Its takes a little while to get comfortable driving. It is scary at first. If you don't know the roads well, make sure you are driving much slower than the speed limit at first. The other drivers can pass you.

Talk to your driver instructor and tell him you seem to be overly scared when you are alone.

Stop listening to your mother in this case.

Don't, if you are not comfortable driving, you are more apt to cause an accident. Some people are just not cut out for it!

Your fear is normal, especially with all of that pressure. It sounds like you need an emotion check. Driving is a huge responsibility and as long as you recognize/appreciate that then you shouldn't have a problem. You only need to pay attention to the road, driving conditions, and other drivers. Don't expect anyone to do anything they are supposed to do. Expect to see a lot of stupid drivers. You're going to need a car. The more you get out there and drive, the better a driver you will be. I don't know why your mom says the things she says. She's clearly not thinking through what she's telling you because it is very discouraging and not at all helpful. Focus on being logical and reasonable. Start slow. Slowly work your way to feeling more confident. Drive the speed limit. Don't tailgate. Signal before making a turn. Don't be afraid. Know your vehicle. That is so important. Pay attention to how it handles. It will take time to get used to it. Don't do anything or go anywhere that you aren't comfortable. Maybe invest in a GPS system because that will help you. Everyone has trouble driving when you don't know where you are going exactly.
