save up 5 dollars, and ask to got wal-mart. they have so much stuff there no one will suspect why you are there. go to the pharmacy section when you can get away from your parents and pick up some URISTAT. or AZO. check out at the pharmacy or electronics dept, so you don't have to wait in a long line and chance getting caught.... if this plan is undo able, get a " craving" for cranberry juice. cranberry juice works great to clear up a bladder infection.... as a last resort you can go to a school nurse, they will likely give you uristat for free.

Just tell them

Go to ur mom and say u r not feeling well. She will say why, And u will tell her and she will take u to the doctor to get it checked out and get some meds. Good luck!!! Don't be embarassed they won't care. Actually they will be happy that u will get better. Good luck and get to feeling better!!!

Sorry for being so crass,, but for God sake,, your health is on the line here, no time to be whinning over "I'm shy about that". Here's the facts,, if YOU don't tell them to take you to the Dr office. your PROBLEM will tell them. I think it is a safe bet to say that no parent wants their child to be THAT afraid or shy to approach them on a matter that important

A bladder infection is nothing to be ashamed of. Take your mom aside and explain your symptoms to her. You will need to see your doctor or go to a local health clinic. There a sample of your urine will be tested. If it is an infection, you will be given a prescription for antibiotics. Do not put it off. If you wait, additional problems may occur.

Sweetheart, don't wait another minute!

I'll bet your Mom has had her own experience with
Bladder infections

She'll be less surprised than you think .

PS It's easily treated

Go to the parent you feel most comfortable talking to and tell him/her your symptoms and that you think you should see a doctor. In the meantime, drink a lot of water and some cranberry juice if you have it. Both will help a little until you can get some antibiotics. Don't be afraid. It happens to a lot of people.

You need to tell them. It's nothing to be ashamed of or embarassed about. Everyone gets them sometimes. If you let it go, it can spread into your kidneys

isnt a blatter infection just better than something way more serious??!! i men there just your parents after all... i know you might be shy... but still... if you think it might be really serious you need to start out on a casual subject and leed up to it somehow. there gonna find out sooner or later anyways. u can just blurt it out when u gather up the courage. but you need to do it SOOOOOOOOOOON!!!

just tell them if you leave a bladder infection you can get REALLY sick

I know everyone is saying tell your mom and I am going to also.

I don't know how old you are but I am going to assume that you are at least 14-16 yrs old. My answer to you is this...... There are lots of things out there that can mimick a bladder infection even some STD's can mimick the signs and symptoms of bladder infections.
I have had many bladder infections that i let go, either because of money or couldn't get time off work, but I will tell you this... My last bladder infection i let it go and let it go i didn't have insurance and couldn't take the time off work. And it almost KILLED ME. The infection went into my kidney's I was in the hospital for 2 weeks.
"PLEASE FOR YOUR SAKE TELL SOMEONE" The test for it is so simple, it may hurt to pee in a cup but it is easy to fix.. "tell someone before it's too late"
Take care, get well

bladder infections are usually a matter of poor hydration...as opposed to crazy sex and drugs... I dont see why your parents would point blank refuse to take you to the doctors... cranberry juice has a natural agent in it that promotes bladder health.. if you can I would reccomend you get some..it may not be the best tasting stuff in the world but it works.. plus keep yourself well hydrated ..and by that i mean water.. not soda... and if your parents really wont take you tell your school nurse... it may not be a very comfortable situation but an untreated bladder infection can lead to a kidney infection which is a huge deal.. soo good luck feel better...
