Would adderall take away my creativity?!
Question: just wondering..
like. i like my creativity and my parents do too.
it is just when it comes to school i struggle a lot and i don't really enjoy struggling in class cuz i feel its stupid to go then.

No. Hahaha... people who get addicted to it say it GIVES them creativity. If anything it gives you more drive to finish creative projects. It doesn't change the fundamental way you think, and definitely won't remove creativity. The only time it seems like it does is when people start spending more time on schoolwork etc. and therefore less time on creative stuff... that's just a time issue though, alot of ppl with ADD do creative things because they're procrastinating. Which can be productive, but it definitely makes school difficult.
Your brain is missing the order. Without medicine my kids would not be good at athletics, top students in school, have good friendships. It is suppose to help you say........ keep your closet in tip top shape, or order, instead of your clothes scattered everywhere. It does not stop their creativity, but you can always try it and see. Sometimes you have to try different meds. too. Like Ritalin instead of Adderall or others.
Adderall is taken for ADD or ADHD. If a person has this disorder, they do not get high from the medication. To the contrary, it calms them down so they can concentrate on the task before them.
That being said, the correct dose of the medication taken is most important. If it is too high, it'll knock you out, and with it your urge to create.
But if the dose is just right, the Adderall won't take away your creativity.
