My cousin won't?!

Question: I recently started going to counselling and they want to do medication evaluation and that's the only thing I need pa rental permission for. I live with my cousin and she's 100% against medicating kids, although I am 16 and will be 17 in 3 months.
My mom has bipolar and is on medication and alot of people on my family have been on anti depressants so it's kind of a family thing.
They want to get me tested to see it i need anti depressants and sleep medication because it takes me 3 or 4 hours to go to sleep part of the time.
My cousin doesn't want me to have to go through them testing me for different medications to see what works at my age but isn't it kind of better to find out what medications work at my age so that then I don't have to go through that as an adult when I have more responsibilities to uphold and since depression occurs multiple times usually shouldn't I find out now what works for me.
what should i do? how can I get my cousin to say yes?

easy show her how u cant sleep like demonstrate to her all the problems u are having so u will be able to recieve medications.

tell her you have a genetic disposition for mental health issues, and will be easier to live with if you are properly diagnosed

contact the local child welfare department and tell them your problem with your cousin. It is morally reprehensible to deny any type of medical care to a minor. Many children have died because their so-called Christian parents or guardians won't permit medical treatment.

Have the counsellor talk to your cousin. Often times when a person hears information from a professional, they take the situation more seriously.

If that does not work, ask to see your medical doctor for a check up. And then ask your doctor to call your cousin and discuss this problem again.

Your cousin should comply after hearing the same diagnosis from two professionals.
