Ambien! Get a prescription from the doctor for sleeping pills, they work miracles hun. They really do. And of course what always helps me is not to drink any caffeine before bed or eat sugary foods because this just gives you energy that you honestly don't need while sleeping so you'll never get to sleep with the extra energy. =) Try watching a movie, I do that and fall asleep mid way through. And if anything turn the news on, that could put anyone to sleep! Lol. But seriously if you can't get over it with any of these things just get a script from your doc for sleeping pills, you'd be surprised how many people in the world use them every day to get to sleep. =)

Im the same way I am not sure why that is. Let me know if you come upon any good answers

i find i slep better after sex

So many things could be keeping you awake:

-sugar
-caffeine
-stress

Best place to go is your family doctor - they will help eliminate emotional and environmental causes etc... and put you on the road to sleep filled nights.

join the club... if you find anything that works pass it on...

I've had that problem all my life and most drugs I've used didn't work so great, some not at all, lunesta will get you to fall asleep pretty quick, but you wake up feeling like you have not slept, so it's kinda pointless. The best thing I've used so far is two melotonins and one valarian right before bed. During the day take 3 caps of 5htp(tryptophan). Space the 3 caps out throughout the day. And zero caffine, don't even drink it in the morning, it takes a few weeks to get used to, but once your sleeping properly, you won't need it anymore. I drink hot cocoa instead.

I had the same problem up until 3 nights ago. I was the same as you. I'd stay awake until 5 or 6 in the morning and then sleep the day away. I read an article on yahoo that said that an hour before you want to go to bed turn off all lights except maybe a few dim lights, turn off the noise...like T.V and sad/exciting music. It said to only do things that don't involve thinking...and if you were a girl I'd say like painting your nails but... I'm not sure what the male equivalent to that is..ha ha. anyway...my point is turn off bright lights, do things that don't involve thinking and maybe listen to classical music or something. It has totally worked for me.

oooomn thats really strange.
try changing the position of your bed. just try to interchange the interiors of your room. its good if you could face toward east.
try having bath before going to bed.

See insomnia treatments, in section 3, at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris . Use one of the relaxation methods, in bed, after lights out, on pages 2, 11, 2.c, or 2.i, but they can take some time to learn, (progressive muscular relaxation excepted) so learn and become proficient in their use during the day; an alternative is to use the EFT, in section 53, and pages 2.q, and 2.o, saying to yourself: "Even though I currently have a sleep disorder, I deeply and completely accept myself,", (or choose your own wording) while you use the acupressure tapping technique. Find out which works best for you, in the daylight hours, so you will be prepared, come bedtime.

make you selft at day so you feel tired at night and you go can sleep
