first of all i think its great that youre taking the initiative to improve yourself, so many people are afraid to try. What I think your asking is how to improve some aspects of your personality, because that is where our core beliefs, values, and view of the world come from. here are the standard 5 aspects of personality, and you can evaluate which of them you may be having problems with. it spells ocean.

Openness to others ( can be too open/trusting or too introverted)

Concienciousness ( do you worry frequently about what people think of you, or do you not care at all- which can also lead to problems)

Extroversion- (how comfortable are you socially, with new people and large groups.)

Assertiveness ( do you have trouble standing up for yourself, or can you be too aggressive)

Neurosis ( does your view of the world often differ from most people, this personality problem often accompanies mental disorders such as bipolar, schizophrenia, anxiety disorders, etc)

Once youve identified some weaknessness ( but you will also probably see some strengths!) try to think about what it would feel like to change that part of you. What would the benefits be? disadvantages? Change can be very scary and anxiety provoking even if its for the better, so its not always easy, but its usually worth the effort. It's hard for anyone to tell you where to start , only you know what you want to change about yourself or how to better yourself .

I would say pick one of your biggest flaws, not physical, and work on making changes to it. For example if you find you often have a temper, work on trying to calm down and not losing it in stressful situations. Good luck, and don't expect miracles overnight. Self improvement is a long, slow , but very rewarding process. =)

well i started working out about six months ago and after about 2 weeks i had a huge boost of self-esteem. Now 6 months later i look huge and girls come up to me and it just helped me feel alot more confident about things. Im not saying that physical appearences are the most important. But i felt that i already had a good personality and i wanted to improve myslef on the outside.....turns out....improvig my outside made my inside that much better....

if you do what you always done...you will get what you always got.....so you have to lose all your old habits
