my heart goes out to you hunny. firstly i would advise you no man is worth taking your precious life. don't let this break-up destroy your future hunny. go to your gp and tell them exactly how your feeling.
i went through a really hard break up with someone who i adored, but after months of crying i got myself together and met the most wonderful new partner who means more to me than i can explain.
you will find love again hunny. dont give up hope.
i think your ex should move out,its not your problem he has nowhere to live hunny. its just prolonging your pain. i did the same as you, i let my ex stay with me as he had nowhere to go.
he repaid that favour by going out, getting drunk and sleeping with another girl with the exact same name as me.
you need a fresh start away from him hunny.
your worth so much more than this hunny.
really hope things start to get better very soon for you. if you ever need a chat feel free to email me. i suffer with depression also. take care hunny. warm regards xxxx

I think you should go and see your GP as soon as you can. It may also help if you have good mates with you to keep your spirits up. I think the worst thing you can do now is be alone thinking about things.

KT-Lou, you need to seek medical help, NOW! I almost broke up with my husband because of depression.I've had it over 20 years now.Confide in a close friend, and get to the doctors.I wish you luck, x

i think you should go and see your gp asap woman. dont do anything silly its not worth it. or talk to someone about your problems

I was with someone for over 13 years. I've been through the same thing. You need medical treatment. Go to your GP who will give you a referral to a psychiatrist.

Hurting yourself is not going to help anyone,no matter how long you were with this person and no matter how you felt about him no person is worth killing yourself about, talk to your friends and go see your doc talk to him about your worries,he is just a guy and you will eventually get over him and meet someone who is going to be with you for the rest of your life,i hope this helps you a little and i wsh you well and good luck.

oh go and see a doctor he might be able to help you.

You should book an appointment with your Doctor and tell them how you are feeling and also ask them about finding a therapist who can help you deal with your dpression.

I have been using this alternative therapy called Emotional Freedom Technique on my anxiety and depression which has helped me a lot. It's very good at getting rid of all kinds of negative emotions and dealing with all kinds of issues quickly. It does sound crazy but does work. It might be something that can help you. If you type depression in the search engine of emofree.com you should find some articles about EFT helping people who suffer from depression. Try some of the techniques from the fourth link. Also click on the link about EFT helped this bloke on Yahoo Answers with his agoraphobia.

I know you probably cant see things clearly just now and 8 years is a long time to be with someone but you have to get back to thinking about just you now,. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Go and speak to your doctor and be 100% honest in how you feel. Dont try and get through it yourself, things will turn round for you. Help is there so please use it. Take care xxxx

The only thing she needs is some sense, drugs will not help her.

Her attitude is "let me do what the hell I like or I will kill myself".

Normally I sign off wishing people luck, but not this time.

You need to see your GP asap, this is not the time of year to be suffering depression & the quicker you get help the better you may feel, try & talk to mates or at least be in their company so your mind is occupied, I wish you well & hope you get the help you need soon.

I think that you should talk with a therapist's they can help you with coping with the break-up i just broke up with someone of five years and we have a child together and its hard to have to deal with him and we share a child together, but i try to deal with it because i know that there is someone out there that will make me happy and make my son happy. You have to keep thinking that and talk to your family and friend's you will be surprised that your not alone.GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS YOU.

mental illness is a horrible condition and im sorry u feel sad cutting ur wrists is not the answer u will stay be sad on the other side dont u want to be happy in this life first ? please go to ur doc and get help u can get medication conselling or both i have had both i still have bad days but im getting there slowly but surely u will to reach out and get help anyway u can good luck

Def speak with your GP. Or someone whom you can fully trust. The break up has had a bad affect on you and will take time. But you must accept things have happen and you do need to move on slowly and get yourself well again. Speak with your doctor who will be able to advise the help they can offer, don't suffer any more than you have. You have to reach out if you want help. Don't be afraid I'm sure they be very understanding. Hopfully you improve little by little. Be patient and open to suggestions and support. All the best.
