What's the difference between paranoia & fear/anxiety/worry?!

Question: Doesn't EVERYONE experience fear? It's human. What makes it become "paranoid schizophrenia"? That's like with Bipolar, everyon has ups & downs & good days & bad days, but why do some people get a LABEL put on them? & once you're labeled or diagnosed-even MISTAKENLY, no one believes anything you say. I was wrongfully diagnosed with those disorders, but I don't have those. I told the doctor about my OCD symptoms, & he tried to say it was psychosis. Now, even though those aren't accurate diagnoses, that's what I'm LABELED as. That doctor was a jerk. Every problem I told him, he twisted everything around & thought it was funny. People take advantage of me & get away with it. People beat me up, threaten me, rape me, take my money, pick fights with me, & all they gotta see is that FALSE label & say "I don't believe a word you say. Shut up!" Plenty of other docs diagnosed me with OCD, Tourette's, anxiety, & depression-not him. Glad I don't see him anymore. He was an intern anyway.

gee your having it rough!!!!!!!!
you need to be strong and stick up for yourself, never let people take advantage of you, and make your u get as much help from your new doctor!, good luck, xxxxxxxxxxxx

Well that's the bad thing once you are diagnosed you will have that the rest of your life. But anyway the difference between the 4 is well being paranoid is when you think things are coming after you or you believe something that's not true and as for the fear/anxiety/worry well every human being gets that. I'm sorry to hear about your experience with the doctors. Keep the one you have know she seems like a good person.Good luck and God Bless

Hm, i'm a kid and i think i can tell the difference....wtf?

The OBVOUS difference is that NORMAL fear 1)goes away when the threat goes away....and 2)is more or less helpful[e.g. fight/flight reflex]

And with the moodyness....1) everyone has mood changes, if we didn't, we'd be robots!...and 2) Some people can have major mood shifts and NOT BE MENTALY ILL. At one point, doctors thought PMS was a mental condition. wtf was with that, but whatever.

Thankgoodness that you've found a better doctor!
