What are your reactions to Adderal?!

Question: I really just take it when I need to be productive but I find I get really moody and I lose my appetite for the entire day. I love the stuff lol but am I taking too big of a dose?

If you're prescribed it, you should talk to your doctor about these side effects.

If you're not prescribed Adderall, what you're experiencing are typical side effects of the drug. You may be taking too much, or that may just be the way your body reacts to any dose (if you were seeing a doctor for it, s/he would probably have you try another ADD medication).

However, you should try to learn how to be productive without it, because it may not always be available to you in years to come. Just a suggestion :)

The way I've seen it done is to start out with the minimum dose, and work your way up to find the right balance between effectiveness vs side effects.

I guess that your dosage is probably a bit high, as if I don't take my meds for a long time I'll have those side effects the first few days I start taking them again.

You could try a different med (my DD likes concerta) you could ask for a reduced dose, or you could make certain to take the existing dose every day until you get used to it.

Best of luck!

Sounds like the dose is to much reduce to find a balance

Its supposed ta help me "make good choices," but lucky for me it never does lol <^_^>

it made me depressed, anxious, guilty. i had no appetite..
