Here is a spot for you to go with this kind of problem. http://insomniacures101.blogspot.com. Not a plug but really I stumbled on it, left a comment about my prescription sleep meds and the owner helped me a great deal.

If you are taking Ambien, you should be alright breaking another in half and taking it as it has a short half life. Otherwise just suck it up, but get help for insomnia because it's a horrible way to live when you can't sleep.

Don't depend too much on the pill. Drink a glass of warm milk, set your alarm, rest on your bed & relax. Before you know it, you will be a sleep till the alarm rings.

No, instead you drink a glass of milk or eat apple or reading a novel while lying on bed. some types of pill can harm your kidneys.

i don't think you should take a sleeping pill cos you've already taken 1 and the effects of the pill wouldn't have worn off by 9.30 so you will still be drowsy when you want to be alert so your meeting with your client is effective. if you can't sleep it's not the end of the world. it does become a problem if you don't sleep at all for a few days. if you don't sleep tonight do some exercise in the day before 4pm so you're tired enough to go to sleep. try not to worry about getting to sleep cos that only makes your insomnia worse. easier said than done i know. i reckon it's better to go without sleep than take a sleeping pill as it makes you feel awful the next day. i should know cos i have taken sleeping pills before.

Just relax .. Get yourself some hot milk .. Lie back .. Put some soft music on .. and don't worry about what's going to happen. You'll fall asleep in no time =) x
