NEUROLEPTICS - did they make your life better?!
Question: The term "neuroleptics" is an older one, and is used to identify MANY classes of psycho-active medications (e.g., anti-depressants, anxiolytics, anti-psychotics). Most, however, use the term mainly to describe anti-psychotic medications (e.g., zyprexa, abilify, haldol).
If you can identify the specific drug (or even class of drugs), we could probably provide you with more useful information.

neuroleptics can be very helpful, especially for those who:
a. have depression that isn't fully responding to anti-depressants
b. have bipolar disorder
c. have schizophrenia
They also use neuroleptics off label in autistics and it's been given high approval from parents of such children.
