Cutting oneself?!

Question: I was cutting a sandwich roll last night and accidentally cut my hand. It bled, stung, etc. And today, when I moved my hand and the cut sort of opens slightly and stings, I actually find pleasure in the sting. Is that normal? Is it OK to feel that way, as long as I am not INTENTIONALLY cutting myself to get the pleasure? It's not that I will cut myself just to feel it, but I am enjoying opening my hand up the stretch the cut a little to feel the sting again. Anyone else feel this way?

Well...it's natural when your hurt to keep "playing" with it. Most people do. If you tell the doctor "It hurts when I do this" He will say" Then don't do that" LOL

I must admit, i've never felt like this but i have friends that have.
BE CAREFUL!
could get infected...don't wanna loose ur arm!

Some people cut because they feel desperate for relief from bad feelings. People who cut may not know better ways to get relief from emotional pain or pressure. Some people cut to express strong feelings of rage, sorrow, rejection, desperation, longing, or emptiness.

Maybe feeling the sting makes you feel relaxed? Is it like a peeling a scab off because I've done that plenty of times and it's totally normal!

I have experienced pain that feels kinda good before. Its weird i can't explain it but i think its normal as long as you are not getting pleasure from all sorts of pain just that random kind that seem to come with a small slightly red around the edges cut.
