Fads or phases...prevent from stopping them?!

Question: I know this is a rediculous question, but is there anyway that one could prevent from falling out of a phase?(EX.I used to like be obsessed with a TV show and I feel myself falling away from it,I really want to like it still!)

I know some of these things you just can't help, but is there anyway to keep likeing something(how lame is this question, but I'm serious!)

The reason you are "falling out" of an infatuation with a particular TV show is probably just boredom. The script writers have not kept up their original wit or sagacity and the plots have become predictable. It is not your fault. A vacation from it may improve your appreciation in the future.

I can't help but observe here that the very habit of watching TV is a fad in itself. It can become an addiction which, like all addictions, needs ever increasing doses (of shrewdness) to satisfy the craving. You need a variety of entertainment and mental activity to keep the mind supple and alert. If you are obsessed with the mind dulling sameness of TV shows you would probably benefit from a few new off TV interests.

Good luck with the "soaps" if that is what they are, good mental health, peace and Love!

if you like something you like it, if you dont you dont, its okay to change your mind. seems like you might be having other issue you are trying to deal with.
