What's Wrong?!

Question: Prior to my condition, I have been quiet in my early years. Then I started to loosen up, and was getting more fit in, comfortable, and "above" everyone. I did not have stage fright, and I couldn't imagine why people have stage fright. I thought how on earth could someone be scared of going on a stage. I mean come on its just a stage. I also once watched a show that included a person with the fear of going outside of their house to the "open" world. I thought to myself how on earth could someone be scared of going outside. How lame is that?! I mean I considered myself, and what might happen to me. I could be hurt, and other things; I never actually thought about it. I just lived a normal life. However, it all changed.
About a year ago, I started being quiet again, and being "constrained". I also got hit in the neck and temple by sort of an "accident", but of course I took it the bad way. I forgot about everything that happened, but then one day I noticed that I had to think to breath.

you can alter your state of mind and thoughts....maybe with some self-help BOOKS or professional help but I think generally you need more distractions,it will keep your mind off your obsession with your breathing.Personally I think you suffered some trauma when you had your accident, you thought you were gonna die so therefore you are nowadays obsessed with BREATHING, or this might have stopped so you are afraid of dying you just need these thoughts to be put into some relaxation

What you are experiancing is panic attacks perhaps even bordering on anxiety.
Although you mind will not think this breathing is an involentry movement and regardsless of whether you have to think to breath you actually will as your body does this naturally.
As for when you are experiancing fear then your breathing can get faster..not good for you..which is why your doctor sujjested to breath into a paper bag..to slow your breathing down.
If you find that you are still going though this and it is difficult perhaps going back to the doctor and going through what you symptoms are again and how you are feeling about them.
