What would you think if?!
Question: Someone on your contact list.. a yahoo member.. was accusing you of giving them thumbs down for their answers? also accusing you of giving their friends thumbs down and taking it very seriously. For instance blaming you when you didnt do it, calling you names.. for a thumbs down. Is that sad, pathetic or do they take yahoo answers too seriously? Do you think this person could really believe I did that and be upset about it or do you think its an excuse to bully me?

Take them out of your contact list and ignore them. Show them who is more mature.
Sheesh they should get over it i could careless if they give me a thumbs down i answered the question to the best of my knowledge So i think people do that cause if it goes into voting and they win by most votes they get 10 flipping points
i rather help some one out that needs help and not worry about who thinks what of it. Don't let it bother you.
Some people take thumbs down too seriously. I have given way over 2500 answers. Some of my answers upset people and I get thumbs down. Some of my answers upset me and I end up with best answer. There are people who troll around and thumbs down every answer in a question. All I do is read a question, decide if it is worth my time to answer it, answer it without sarcasm and answer it with the best possible advise I can. If people don't like my answer that is their opinion. Sometimes I wish there was a thumbs down button for questions. I would really be glad to use it.
Don't worry about the contact, he will either get bored with bothering you or will eventually get bored with yahoo answers and move on.
It has gotten to you as you have posted on here...honestly i rarely go back and see if anyone has given me the thumbs down and i dont pariculary give the thumbs down unless the answer is way what it should not be.Remove these ppl from your contact list and this also gives them less power on your opinions ect..
Personally i think that ppl like that need to get a life...this is supposed to be here to help others not to gain brownie points
