Your local MHMR agency (Mental Health Mental Retardation) can help. They have programs to help with substance abuse as well as housing, etc. They should have listings of halfway houses. You should find them in the phone book...may be under government. It's normally funded by the government.
try a phonebook or a local church.
good luck... maybe a soup kitchen too , they might know where to direct you.
Call your local health and human services office and they can give you numbers and locations or get you on the right track at the very least.
