Question on Anxiety?!


Question: Any ways to get rid of anxiety? My anxiety gets to the point where I have difficulty breathing and my heart constantly feels like it's racing. I get stressed over every little thing, i'm always in a grumpy mood from getting such bad headaches all the time.

I'm sorry you're suffering with anxiety. It sux.

Go see your GP and rule out any medical conditions - which there are quite a few - which could cause anxiety. Such as, thyroid, hormonal, and sugar imbalances.

You did mention headaches, which can be caused by the above conditions.

If you're okay physically, then your next step is to see a psychiatrist. He/she'll determine whether your condition can be treated with therapy alone, medication, or a combination of both.

I have panic and anxiety attacks too... other than medication, try deep breathing.. It's supposed to help.. according to my therapist..

you might have to see a therapist! it sounds like your anxiety is getting really bad!! I have a mild case of anxiety where I have trouble sleeping at night!! but sleeping pills helps!!

Sorry, darling there are no cheats nor tricks. Anxiety is no joke. You need meds and a doctor.

You should definitely see a therapist and/or psychiatrist; it sounds like your anxiety is starting to negatively affect your life.

Exercise will also help.

Panic attacks suck my bad if you got them cause I had them too... they can last for months or years sometimes you need treatment like medication. rapid heartbeat, dizzeness, shortness of breath, and anxiousness can be symtoms of a panic attack. Sometimes they feel like heart attacks they happen anytime unexpectedly even while your asleep thats when I usally got them. They feel fatal sometimes that people go to the hospital emergency room thinking they got a heart attack....the docter there does test on you but ends up saying you got nothing that its all in your head or that its nothing serious but it actually it is it sux ***... anxiety can **** up your life if you dont get treated early. It can get you acting up or smoking drugs or getting you into fights or even more seriuos. Dont worry mariposa just keep your self busy when my cousin died I joined boxing ...any kind of exercise helps alot oyu can go to a phyciatrist or how ever you spell it can help you feel better too he will probally give you some medication and ask you questions you feel alot better trust me.if you ever have any question or if you want to talk ... dont be shy to email me my email is www.max17copado@yahoo.com .... Just try to relax take a bath or just lay in bed if you can close your eyes and imagine your perfect place and breathe slowly and deeply in and out (sometimes when I do this I am so worked up it ends up being to fast so remember keep it slow) flex and relax all of your muscles from your eyebrows to your toes and just try to relax. Anything to get your mind off of it which I know is terribly hard. Obviously medication if you can afford it can help. Good Luck!
