I am so sorry for your loss. The "first" of everything is always hard after losing someone so close.

I would say that you need to first of all be kind to yourself this Christmas. Do the things you want to do and leave the rest, does it really matter in the grand scheme of things. I would also try to remember all of the good things you both did together at this time and try to honor your mums memory by doing something she would appreciate, what ever that may be.

I don't think your mum would want you to be sad and alone this Christmas so go out, meet people maybe get involved in something charitable where you can help others who need company at Christmas and in doing this you will also be helping yourself.

I do hope you have some peace and happiness this Christmas and in the year to come.

Try to get out and have fun. Physical activity and laughing are the best anti-depressants and stress relievers. Also, try not to isolate yourself too much. Enter "social clubs (your city name)" in some search engines and get involved in what interests you. All the best.

then dont be alone find someone to be with and do that any extreme measures to ensure not being alone you need someone theres always someone waiting for you to come and confide in them...something i do thats kind of depressing but makes me feel better is going in a crowded area like the malls and just walking because people are bound to just crash into in places like that and sometimes thats all you need to remember youre not alone
