How can I not think negative things?!


Question: I have too much negative and stress things in my life, and everyday I always think those things. I wish these things doe not come in to my mind.

Choose to be positive. It is impossible to think of a negative thought and a positive thought at the same given time. Exercise it and you will see improvement. Listen to this analogy. Are there foods that your body just doesn't like or upsets your stomach? How often do you eat those foods? I assume that you would say never. Are there negative thoughts or negative people that bring you down or upset you? Well, how often do you think bad thoughts or associate with negative people? For many this is where we need change. I suggest that you evaluate your surroundings. If you choose to be a positive person you will notice that some people will chose not to hang around you any more. Some times you have to leave others behind and hope that they will catch up on their own. I hope this helps.

Surround yourself with things that remind you of happy thoughts.

You must learn to control your environment to control your thinking.

make yourself busy n don't hv any time to think of it..

but i tried it once, it don't really works.. when those things r coming into my mind i can't stop it nowonder how busy i am.. i am in the same condition as you.. can't help much, sorry..

you just have to train your mind not to think those thoughts anymore. when you catch yourself thinking them push them out of your head. i know that sounds cheesy but over time it could possibly. work.

Find hobbies that are fun and require your entire focus. I took up golf. It's relaxing & requires so much focus. It can be frustrating, but still fun.

Watch funny movies or hang out with funny people. Listen to relaxing, positive music.

There are lots of things you can do to bring enjoyment to your life. Think of things you would like to do & get out & do them.

Stop the negative thoughts with positive self-talk. Practice saying positive things or doing something productive that you enjoy when negative stressful thoughts enter your mind. There must be times when you are happy. What are you doing then? Increase those moments.
