Question: he already has a mistress, his addiction!!!

do not be fooled by anything he says as long as he is using-the drugs can and will make him a self centered dishonest person. he maymean well, but addictions tend to rule the actions of the addict!

Most of them are in it for an easy cheap fix. Especially after they have screwed up their lives enough like lost job etc...

Yes - so they can get high together.

Drug addicts are NOT in their right mind & often do things they wouldn't do sober.

A true drug addict won't have a girlfriend unless she's a junkie also, it's part of the alienating process of being truly addicted.

Sure, but take out the word "friend" from that phrase. Girl, guy, monkey, dog, serial rapist, does it matter when you're a looser druggie?

Sure, misery loves company, what better company than a fellow addict.

If someone is the girlfriend of an addict then she is an enabler with her own issues. To me, it'd be a blessing for an addict to leave a non-addict.

not necassarilly if he loved his girlfriend being a drug addict does nto make someone bad.

if you are an addict ...common sense will fly out the door ... you will do things to people you love and support that you could imagine doing if you didnt have an addiction... leave his girlfriend ? oh, yea... if the girlfriend is lucky...if not, he will use her up in anyway possible ( economically, mentally, physically ) to support his habit until he is able to get some help...

An addict who is using would sell his girlfriend's organs for transplants in order to get another dosis. An addict who is using does not have an elevator that goes to the top floor, the light's are on but no one is home, all the Christmas tree bulbs don't twinkle: he or she is in an altered state of mind where the logic of people who are not using does not apply.

A drug addict is capable of just about anything and it all revolves around the drugs
