write a letter to her, and put it on the counter before you go to school/out with a friend/whatever... this gives her some time to read your letter and think clearly about how she can help you. She's going to be angry, upset, disappointed - but she wouldn't be much of a mother if she didn't feel that way.

Write something like this to her (but in your own words, it has to come from your heart)

Dear Mom,

I'm not sure how to tell you this, but I need your help. I have bulimia. I have had bulima for "x amount of time". I know this is unhealthy and that is why I am asking for your help. I'm scared to talk to you about it, but I know it's the right thing to do. I know you're going to be angry and upset with me, and I hate disappointing you.

It is been really hard for me to get the courage to talk to you about this, so I hope you won't be too angry with me.

I love you so much and I appreciate everything you have done for me, more than you will ever know.

just sit down with her and tell her its important for you to tell her and get help beforeit goes to far. it can kill you and its not good. you can get to point where you can't really change and that is sad. take care.

You really do need to open up and tell somebody, because you are hurting yourself badly. I know people who have gone to the hospital for bulimia. If you have a good relationship with your mom, you can just say, "Mom, I really need to talk to you about something that's going on." If you have a bad relationship, and you're worried what she might say or do, talk to a school counselor about it because it's very important to get help very soon. It's good that you understand how serious your problem is. But please do something about it immediately. Good luck!

You are doing really well to recognise that you have a problem and to be honest enough to admit it. Well done! That is half the battle. Just tell your mum that you feel scared and that you need her help. You will get through this.
Bless ya

Just tell her. It will be hard, but you just need to do it. Having an eating disorder is not good. I have one. It started out as a way to lose weight, but got so much worse as it went on. It is very hard to get rid of. I am starting to get better, but I always want to go back to it. Just tell her, so you can get help before you make yourself worse. ED's are not fun.

HONEY, YOU TELL YOUR MOTHER, AND QUICK. DON'T WAIT ANOTHER MINUTE. WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS VERY DANGEROUS, AND I AM NOT KIDDING. IF YOU CAN'T TELL YOUR MOTHER, THEN PLEASE, GO TO THE DOCTOR AND TELL HIM/HER BEFORE IT IS TO LATE. I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG YOU HAVE BEEN DOING THIS, BUT I WILL TELL YOU THIS: DON'T FOOL AROUND - GET HELP. GOD BLESS YOU AND GOOD LUCK.

knowing the problem is half of the solution. sit down and explain what has been going on calmly. because bulimia is a secretive addiction, it is no surprise that this sudden need for honesty is frightening for you, but it is for the best. make sure that you let her know that you love her and are in need of her support. it is a disease, and no one person is at fault. she may feel like she has done something or failed to spur your problem, but assure her this is not the case and just ask for her help to find a professional. best wishes.
