finding affordable psychiatric care is really allot easier than you think. many places offer care on a sliding scale so you really dont pay more than you can maybe only 5 or 10 $. try catholic charities , family services, or local university's and collages. as for the time issue, it really sounds like your trying to avoid facing your issues. but once your feeling better you'll realize nothing is more important.

Only way to know 4 sure is to see the doc.

Hi...first off you need to quite with the self diagnosis...and second there are mental health clinics that use a sliding scale of payment...third...if you are truly suicidal then do you really not have enough time to deal with mental health issues before they deal with you

If you feel like killing yourself, it is a false economy to delay going to the doctor. It could cost you your life instead of your money. To get any kind of psychiatric diagnosis, go to a psychiatrist and answer their questions. Then go get a second opinion, since diagnostic evaluation is an art, not a science. Then stick with the one who seems to "get" you the best.

When you are bipolar, and there are a couple of types, you usually experience feelings of sadness, depression and then you might experience feelings of extreme happiness. You might do things like spend lots of money, feel euphoric, like you can do anything, talk fast, have insomnia, etc. You are almost like on a drug high. Then you can come crashing down into the depressive phase and some people do have suicidal thoughts. I have been living with bipolar for over 10 years. It is something that needs to be monitored by a professional.

I hope this site helps, I am very much bipolar in every way, and trust me, I would have never thought I was, so don't try and diagnose your self, it doesn't work out well.

Hope it helps and good luck!

Please see a psychiatrist. He can prescribe you the medication to make you feel better. Do you have any medical insurance?

all the best. And pray to Jesus. He makes you feel better.
