Do You Know Any Good Books For Non-Drinkers with Alcoholic Inlaws?!
Question: I'm struggling and need to get some self help or educational books. I am a non-drinker married to a non-drinker who happens to have relatives who nearly all drink, use drugs regularly. Help please if you know something. The nearest Al-anon meetings are 3 hours driving time from me. Thanks in advance. Happy New Year Everyone!

Try the book "When Difficult Relatives happen to Good People" (the author's last name is Felder). My soon-to-be inlaws are a really disfunctional bunch.
This book gives you really good strategies for dealing with difficult people in general, and there is special focus on dealing with addicts in denile.
