Is there something wrong if a guy is sensitive?!
Question: yea....im just a normal guy but unlike a lot of guys i know i am a really sensitive person, what i mean is that if im not afraid to admit if i have a problem and i need help, ill admit that even though im a guy if im going through emotional problems i may cry a little, if im feeling down ill even write poetry to make myself feel better, or if my friends are feeling down ill try to be there and help them out. Like a really close friend of mine i write poems for because they make her happy, which makes me happy. I realize im a sensitive person, and around some friends i can be myself, but around others (mainly a few of my guy friends) i feel like they would ridicule me if i act how i really am because they will see me as a sissy or gay or something (and im not lol i just care more about people). Is there something wrong with the way i am?

Not at all! You are what you are. If anyone says otherwise, who cares! I always have thought sensitive guys were just nicer overall! They aren't full of themselves and annoying, which is definitely a good thing. Don't feel bad for one second how you are! I encourage it!!! Some guys think it's uncool to be like that, but pay no attention to them cause they are immature and cruel 9/10 times. It doesn't matter what they think about you, so don't be afraid to be who you are.

No there isn't. We are in the same boat my friend. It is just that I hide it really well underneath a mask. My grief has slipped out once or twice and it has gone noticed but I vowed to never let that happen again. Smile when you think you should, when people want you to. And please do not glorify your sensitivity, your pic is a mockery.
There is nothing wrong with being a sensitive man. Don't buy into the stereotype that you have to be a macho jerk to be a real man. Real men cry when they're upset and they write poetry and express themselves in artist ways. You're a much healthier man for being in touch with your emotions.

It's a lot better to show your emotions than bottle them up anyway. As for your guy friends ridiculing you...they're just jealous because they haven't learnt how to deal with their emotions yet and they don't know how to care for people so don't let it bother you.

There's only a problem if you ever plan on having sex. Women will tell you all day, every day, that they just *sigh* LOVE sensitive guys, but at the end of the night, they're sleeping with the guy that isn't likely to burst into tears over a flat tire or burned dinner.
