Why did my crack addicted brother do this...?!
Question: I went to go visit him for the first time since August.
But in August I tried "tough love" by not responding to his
letter he sent days shortly after our August visit.
I went in to see him today in jail and they told me that
he took me off the list.
My mother and I finally chose to respond to him 2 weeks ago,
and he hasn't written back.
His release date is next month.
Why do you suppose he did this ?

he's upset with you.Tough love is not the way to go. Pray is.You should of wrote him back and told him how you feel, or felt he was lonely and needed you but you refuse to answer his call maybe he has changed people do . He needs help and support I know he is a addicted and they can change I know of people who has with the help of Jesus.he may of needed you pray about it.GOD wants to hear from you.Let him know how this hurt you and I will keep you in my prayers Prayer do work Jesus loves you and your brother God Bless you and your family and I hope every thing works out for all of you
Maybe he didn't understand your "tough love". You need to talk to him when he gets out and before he uses again. He needs family support and to know that you love him no matter what.
He has no self esteem. Hes angry at you, your mom and himself. The poor guy is stuck in jail and feels like a slave to his own mind. Crack fucks with a persons head and emotions. I hate to tell you but theres not much you can do. Its all on him.
because hes a crack head! jk jk...ummm because he cant accept that people around him love him, even if it was tough love!
well, now he prob thinks that none of you care about him anymore, what would you think if you were in jail and for 3 or 4 months no one came to see you or wrote you letters or anything??? that was a dumb thing to do, i can understand maybe 3 wks of not seeing him but not for as long as you did, good luck with that relationship
I hate to say this, but that's what those crack heads do......Pray for him. He's the one who will go for help when HE decides it's time. Don't hold your breath, but keep praying.
