Are you afraid of having an accident - or are you having agitation because the trip is taking too long? If it's the fear of having an accident, your doctor can help you with pills to calm you down (as long as you aren't the one driving) - if it's just too long for comfort, plan to make more stops. If you are religious, you can always pray. I take my rosary everywhere I go and when it starts to snow or rain, I become terrified and I just start praying. It definitely helps me to calm down. Good luck.

Just get over it, there's nothing we can actually do to help.

do what i do.. don't pay attention.. and just flow

Ride with a better driver.

First thing is to try to remember when your feelings changed, or what event happened that might have caused you to feel threatened by long auto rides. Maybe car sickness, a near accident, even being cooped up with someone who had B.O. might have caused it. When you define what it was that started changing your perception of long car rides you will be better able to gain back your comfort. Good luck!!

take a road trip with somebody youre truly comftorable with, they understand your limits but make sure they could challenge you to go "just 10 more minutes" until your fear is lessened..worked for my friend

keep driving for as long as u can. trying pushing urself
when u get too scared stop.
then try again
over time ull get over it.

I had panic attacks for a while, usually only in a car. I would feel like I could not breath or swallow. I started carrying a bottle of water with me and when I was having an attack I would take swallows of water and tell myself I could not be doing that if I was really chocking. I eventually went into therapy and was helped to understand it was a control issue. Shut in a car you unconsciously feel you have no control. I very rarely have an attack now

if your not driving then go to sleep wen u get nervous.....but if ur driving then idk wat ta tell ya

Unless I am driving I am in fear with another driver. for ever.
