Chelsa:
Sweetie, I just want to let you know that you are not alone. I have a daughter and she is 27 and is afraid of going places. She seems to think people are talking about her and she hangs her head down all the time. She is a very intelligent young lady. She has a problem, though, she is an addict. She is now in a crisis center and hopefully, she will get the help she will and desperately needs. She (or so we thought) has been clean and straight for 3 years, then yesterday, Dec. 26, 2008, it so happened she had a Dr.'s appt. and she told me that she had to have something done or something terrible was going to happen to her. I am terrified for her. I almost lost her due to an OD when she was in the 9th grade with asprins and other pills in that catagory. She tried Methodone and for three years, it seemed to work,,,,and to my surprise, this is how dumb Mother's can be, it isn't nothing but an expensive high. She is in a bad way and with the good Lord's help and the Dr.'s help I pray she can get completely clean and stay clean. They told her she is having withdrawals from the Methadone and it is her fight and no one, but her can do it, but her. So you see, Chelsie, being scared isn't bad. You tell that old devil ( I hate him) to get back behind you and believe it in your heart and he will leave you alone. Don't be afraid of him, the good Lord is there for you, lean on Him...just tell Him to send the devil away and He will. It's terrible to be afraid. I, too, suffer from anxiety and panic attacks and get scared of really nothing...no one understands that unless they have been there, right? It's something you can't make anyone understand. But, Chelsie, you can beat this thing. Have you talked to a Dr or a counselor? They help too. I wish you the best. My best wishes for you.
Linda

u have severe deprssion please ask your parents to get you some help

get a counciler

Sounds like you may be experiencing an anxiety disorder of some sort. Any competent psychiatrist can prescribe an anxiolytic medication that will solve your problems nicely. You might want to ask about "extra-pyramidal side effects" and medications to prevent those. The medication will need to be experimented with a bit...dose adjusted, maybe several different drugs tried...until your doctor finds the dose and drug that are best for you.
There is no shame in needing help with this, and no shame in seeing a psychiatrist (who is a medical doctor specialized in dealing with disorders of mood and such). You haven't done anything wrong...you are not crazy...you just need a little help because of a minor illness that you have no control over. So talk to your parents about this & get the help you need. And when you see the Doctor...tell him everything you said in your question as a bare minimum...tell him everything else, too.

Sweetie!! First of all ask yourself what makes you scared.if the answer is everything then ask why.My question to you is "Do you have God in your life'?if the answer is no then i suggest you ask him to come into your life by excepting Jesus as your savior and believing he died on the cross for our sins.i think if you prayed at night before you went to sleep your mind would be in a more peaceful state.

Please go to the doctor- it sounds like extreme anxiety which often goes along with depression. You are to young to be living like this. You have a wonderful life waiting for you- it's not your fault you have these fears.
