Hey sweetie, you are not alone. I promise! I'll try to keep this short and simple, there is nothing to get rid of or fix. Just let things be the way they want to. Let the depression be. Don't touch it or fix it or indulge in it. Let it be itself K? The accient logic is nothing is permanent, that is to say anything and everything must go or disappear and so is "your" depression and the desire to die. If you want to, you could voluteer at a senior center or humane society or the like. The intention is not to occupy your time but to "develop" or "stretch" if you will your generosity and compasion. This act will change your current perspective and mold it into something very positive and beneficical to you. Consequently, you will find lots of reasons to live and you will appreciate life more. You will want to live and be involved with life instead of being isolated from it.
I don't understand where you are now exactly, psychologically speaking, but there is a saying: after a storm the sun will rise again. The storm is your current circumstance and the sun is life itself. Be patient.
If you happen to be doing drugs, drink alcohol or smoke weed, stop! I don't think you do this but just in case if you do, you must stop now. One more piece of wisdom that keeps me going is in order to purify gold, it must be burnt in the hottest spot of fire, beaten, twisted and stretched. You are that gold. Welcome to real life! It will be beautiful to you.

Jeeez, girl, take it easy. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Your have a problem on your hands you dont have answers to... take it a day at a time. Somewhere along the line your life got out of your hands, probably. You probably feel you have no control of it, maybe that you hurt other people, etc, that's the typical source of depression, but it's usually very inflated and unreasonable. Are you currently in danger? What problems are there that have actual solutions? Stick to those problems first. if you have too many on your hands, why not stop doing some thins you're doing. If you're not doing anything, try something new, somethin you wanted to do before. You had the guts to ask this question here... why not take it another step up? You'll be ok :) Share your problem with yours, family, they might want to help more than you think, and your friends might be able to relate, etc.

I'd love to say there's some magic wand option, but the two things that helped me most were firstly telling someone about it which you've now done and secondly going to see a doctor. Admittedly that's the advice I give a lot of people and talking does help, but sometimes it can be useful to have a backup.

On the suicide thing - the only way I managed it was not to think too far ahead or it just sent me haywire and simply to figure....well, I could do that today but then I won't find out if tomorrow was going to bring something really nice.

Did that for years, but as it turned out, if I'd killed myself then other people that I'd never met at that time would have suffered. That scares me now to think what I wouldn't have done. Sometimes it takes time, but give it a chance would be my advice and go seek help....they really do care these days.

Oh and if you feel it again, come back and talk to us...

Occupy your time with things/people that make you happy, dont sit around thinking and sulking... talk to friends, parents, cousolers they are there to help and with how my ex used to cut it isnt the answer and your only causing your self harm...talking is the only way ... find out what your unhappy about and take steps to fix them instead of using "cutting" as the answer. good luck!!

I was going crazy for a while too, Couldnt' get myself motivated and felt like crap.. It's a crazy loop because it takes your energy away and your motivation away to do anything but because you can't do anything your depressed and weak and can't get out of it.

The only thing that helped me was my cousin forcing me to goto the gym for him... The harder I worked out the hard I exercised the better I began to feel. The problems were still there but I was able to handle them.. I felt like I Was above them and I wanted to take my problems and step on them..

The only one who matters in this world is you! No one else matters when you realize this everyone starts to like you even maybe become jealous of you. Don't let them take you down though just keep being you and you will find out who you are soon. I hope this helps you.

Babe, the only thing u can do is talk about what's hurting u and what's wrong. With the cutting u can take a rubber band and pop it on ur skin when u want 2 cut. Take a red pen and draw lines on ur skin, take a bath. Anything so u don't cut. Its going 2 be really hard but u can stop if u really want 2. I have been where u are the wanting 2 die and the self harm part. I still self harm but I don't want 2 die anymore.
