First, please realize that you are Not worthless!
You are a scared hurt person who deserves to like yourself.
I care, and so will everyone who answers you.
You belong here on earth, and have a right to feel safe and be protected!

This is a serious problem. I know. I was 13 when I started cutting myself in places hidden by clothes because I didn't want anyone to know. So I know that there is a payoff.
That doesn't make it a good way to feel better.

You have had a trauma in your life that you may not even remember. This is a symtom of trauma that isn't dealt with.

If you have a good relationship with a parent or an aunt, please tell them you are having a serious problem that wont go away without help, therapy.
If there is no family member, maybe a teacher or a friend's mom. There must be someone you can talk to.

You don't even have to tell them exactly what if you feel afraid to. It is important to get help, not just because of hurting yourself, but many girls have died from anorexia.

Whatever the cause, you are suffering from it. If you can get help now, it will make the future better for you. It will help not just you, but all future relationships you will have.

Sometimes it's hard to talk to someone about feelings.
It can be real hard if your therapist has to move, but it's better than suffering on your own.

There is light at the end of the tunnel. I didn't stop cutting until my (ex) husband hit me for doing it. I knew he would hit me again. Now nobody is going to hit me, if they do, they wont get a 2nd chance.

Please get help sooner than I did. People care!

talk to your doctor and EAT!!!!

see a doctor now, dont put it off, promise me you will not do anything silly.your doctor can help with both your problems.promise me you will get help.please

See anorexia, bulimia, and self harm, in sections 44, 39, and 16, at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris View anxiety treatments, at * ezy-build (below) in section 6. Set yourself a fixed limit for worrying about any particular subject, (say; 15 minutes) after which, resolve firmly to refuse to even consider that subject again on that day: realise and accept that to do otherwise would be counterproductive to your mental health, and enjoyment of life. Use the technique for reprogramming negative thoughts and internal monologue (self talk), on pages 2, and 2L, to help you in this, and consider carrying a wide rubber band in your pocket: put it on your wrist; stretch, and release, as a means of reinforcing it, and speeding up the process, re-pocketing it afterwards. Practice one of the relaxation methods on pages 2, 11, 2c, or 2i, daily, and when needed. Also, give the EFT a good tryout, to see if it helps you. There is also a version for use in public places, (if you like, you can claim to have a headache, as you massage/lightly tap your temples). Section 53, and pages 2, 2.q and 2.o at * http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris also refer: "Even though I sometimes suffer from anxiety, I deeply and completely accept myself."

This may sound really crazy but get your nails done. With acrylic. I bet you 100 bucks you won't do it no more.

I believe you have reasons for doing all these.

It is not about not eating, eating too much or ripping your
own nails.

The issues that you are facing are bigger then these.
And I know that it is hurting you alot for you to be
hurting yourself so much.

I would suggest the following:

1) Visit your trusted doctor to see to your fingernails and talk to him or her if you are comfortable.

2) Talk to a trusted friend.

3) Crying it out. Crying is a form of therapy in itself.

4) Write a letter to yourself. This may sound crazy but it works for me when I am down and out. Write a letter address to yourself and just talk to yourself and figure a way out to help yourself.

5) If you would like to just let it out to someone, I have an email that you can find on http://www.selfhelpmotivation.blogspot.c... where you can post to.

6) Keep asking. It is great that you are taking the first step to find a solution over here. As you read the answers, apply those that you feel comfortable with and keep asking questions as you progress.

7) Your way. Stop this action your way. You know that you are self harming. You can ask yourself, "How can you better handle this?"

Let me know if this helps.

You can do this!
