okay sweetie, i know how you feel. I'm on the xanax too, but here's the crappy part...you will get VERY ADDICTED to it if you reach for it every time you panic. TRUST ME. i've been doing this shite for 15 years now. breathe. Breathe again. Deep breath. Walk if you have to. Get air. Drink water. This all sounds very lame...but it works.
If ABSOLUTELY necessary, break that 1 mg in half. Just knowing that you took it will make you feel better..it's partly psychosomatic...but partly real.
Fight the panic, but don't hurt yourself.
Try the breathing thing...it works.
i had to get off my 9 pills/day habit...now i do the breathing!!
I'm sorry sweetie...i feel for you, i really do. Breathe. In. Out. In. Out. Keep going....

Yes only 1 more after that it makes my symptoms worse, relax,be careful and stay with your girlfriend she will keep you safe.

that won't help. stop, close your eyes and breath in deep several times. i get Valiums for mine. when i get too bad i take one and start the breathing exercises .

There should be some kind of phone number for the doc who prescribed you the meds. Someone should be on call to answer your question. Try calling his/her office and you should get a service who can connect you with a doc. Good luck.

Well, most of the time doctors prescribe 0.5 mg twice a day. I dont' know what that adds up to. The best thing for you to do is call your area hospital and ask for the emergency room, then ask to speak to a nurse. they will answer your question. I wouldn't play around with something like xanax it can be dangerous if you take too much. Ask someone that really knows what you can do. They can ask a physician that is in attendance at the emergency room.

I would call the doctor that prescribed the Xanax and make sure, but that being said, if they are only 1mg, you should be fine. Try to focus on something else and take deep breaths in through your nose and out or your mouth. Listen to the way each breath sounds, concentrate deeply on being at ease. I have struggled with panic disorder for a couple of years and deep breathing really helped me. Also, remember that it is all in your head and that you are in no real danger. You are safe and secure even if your mind is trying to tell you differently. Good luck, hon.

Don't take another one. Those are some powerful drugs Take a warm shower, lie down and take some slow deep breaths and make your fingers go limp. Don't take another pill!! Good luck, you can do it.

call your 'on-call' doctor or prescribing physician .. even the pharmacist could offer better assistance in this case than getting the help of common people not knowing what these people know..

Take one more xanax then lie down and do some deep breathing(slowly) Also, force your mind the imagine all the sensations of walking on the beach (warm air, hot sand under your feet, smell of the air, cool breeze, everything you see, taste of the salt, etc). Try to force yourself to imagine every sensation involved with the experience. That will keep your mind off of the mouth and retriggering (takes some practice). The stitch coming out, from a dental stand point, is no big deal.

I would say , take half of it, & see if it helps. try to relax dont have any caffeine - including chocolate. give it some time . i hopeit gets better for you...

Don't take anymore of those pills if you can help it. In my opinion they hurt you more than they help you. You do not need to go to the hospital. What you need to do is focus on something else besides your anxiety-panic problem. Try watching a movie, play a video game, or talk with your girlfriend. I know it sounds easier said than done but it will help you because you will be focused on other things besides your anxiety. When you start getting jittery just laugh and tell yourself that everything is going to be fine. Stay away from xanax, klonopin, buspar and whatever else. They may bring relief but they do more harm than good in the long run. If you must take something, take a tylenol pm. It will help take the edge off when you are feeling anxious.

TAKE ANOTHER ONE IT WON'T HURT YOU THEN LAY DOWN AND RELAX. NOTHING IS WORSE IS THAN THIS KIND OF ANXIETY TO HAPPEN TO SOMEONE WITH PANIC ATTACKS, THE WORSE IT COULD DO IS MAKE YOU SLEEPY AND IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED IT, I TAKE XANAX AND HAVE FOR YEARS YOU'LL BE OK.

hey, chill out.
nothing to b scared of.
i did not kno that a male culd b such a coward dude!
omg,
get a life, stop being a coward.
if u r so scared, see a psychiatrist
