Your name says 13, are you 13? You are at a hard age where you are a mix of emotions and hormones. If you do not want to start off seeing a counselor try to find a good friend to talk with about your depressed feelings. Maybe try listening to music you like, drawing or anything to allow yourself to release any pent up feelings and make you feel better. The thoughtless description sounds like clinical depression but you can try to work it out on your own if you are careful.
Please though if you ever feel like hurting yourself please tell someone and go get professional help. I'm a professional and I think everyone can benefit from talking to an outsider (does not have to be a professional in most cases).

Tell your parents. Please. You may need to get on medication, and if you are under 18, you can't do this without your parents. Please tell them. Your pride is not worth your happiness.

YOU RE OBVIOUSLY DEPRESSED ABOUT SOMETHING. YOU NEED TO BE MORE POSITIVE IN LIFE. IF YOU RE STILL NOT HAPPY, YOU SHOULD SEEK SOME COUNSELLING

well you could take the dope there is enough made by big pharma to git the world medicated 3 times over even pets are medicated face it your fine you care and the other people want to be retarted keep working on you but you have to have some fun every once in a while you cant be so serious all the time have you tried going to a national park have your parents take you on vacation

You may need a blood test. You could have a chemical imbalance causing it.

But if not find a good cause and work on helping other people in some way. Sometimes helping out others is the key to helping out ourselves.

its probably your homromes dont worry... you will feel better in time...if you dont belive it is hormones you have to let go of the past and be more positive....talking does help though confide in a close friend

HI--as much as you don't want to hear it, your parents NEED to find out, and WILL find out eventually. It's not healthy to put a mask on when you are around them. It actually digs into the depression & makes it worse. I personally have depression and anxiety, so I can kind of relate to you. Depression is a disease. It would be like your parents not knowing you have heart disease. It's not possible. Talk to someone at least. A friend maybe? Best of Luck & take care. ; )

i would speak to someone at school if you cant tell your parents then at least you will be able to talk to someone about what you are feeling. many many people go through stages in their life where they dont know what they want, i have been there myself and im still not sure really, you just have to take each day as it comes, try to see things in the bigger picture too, like if you feel like this for another 6 months and then you have 5 years where you feel better then its not really that bad to put up with, when you feel down it never feels like it will pick up, but it will if you talk to someone about the way you are feeling.alot of people with depression wouldnt be able to pinpoint the reason also.
