How do you convince someone not to committ suicide?!

Question: i mean between the teasing/bullying, physical flaws-acne, scars, and vitiligo, and mental flaws-almost like a bipolar person, and every other difference...harrasment, physical, and mental abuse-from parents, family, and friends, etc. there are a lot of people who attempt suicide...how do you convince someone who has unsuccesfully attempted suicide and failed, not to kill themselves? a person who has overdosed on pain medication, and such? how do you convince someone so depressed and so low, that they have nothing to live for to not kill themselves. thanks.

just tell them this

"Suicide Is A Permanent Solution To A Temporary Problem"

Talk to them, then tell an adult or doctor who can do something to help them.

Use reverse psychology. They will see the error of their ways, and choose to live. Death is permanent--it lasts even longer than high school. . . .

Actually, its not your job. The best way to help someone is to tell a professional or a teacher or a nurse or someone. Take all the information you know and tell someone. There are lots of people out there that have been trained for this very thing.

One thing you might not realize, is most people who have a plan in place and have a date in mind, will actually appear relieved and happy. So you might think all is well. They will spend alot of time convincing those who love them most that there is nothing wrong, only so their plan won't be foiled.

Do not make this your job. Get someone who has been trained to help. Do it fast.

You need to direct your concerns to a seasoned professional. How many of those group killings / suicides started out with a suicide only intention.

This one is really easy.......just shoot them before they do it.
