How do i get past this ?!


Question: Okay.I don't know what to do or how to react..My life is in a puddle and i'm sick or people telling me that is teeanage hormones or that i am PMSing because i know and understand that this is somthing very wrong with me.I am so sad and in a deep hole..a slump.I dont know how to get out. And please dont tell me to get doctors help because drs dont help me. I have tryd that, and counsaling(ow ever you spell it)
isnt going to work because i have a fear of them..I have just gotin out of cutting myslef because that isnt the way to go!I stop that and i wont ever go back to that. I was stupid to do that but i need help becasue im scared of going back to that point!

I think a lot of us has gone through this point maybe not as bad as some but something similar.

I have my sister and cousins go through what you are going through when they were around 16-18 yrs old. Sometimes problems pushes you to almost give up. They are now 21-22 yrs old and doing pretty good.

I sat down with both of them and did not scold them, instead I told them simple things that can help.

Here are the things I told them

1) Always think of something to look forward to no matter how simple it is. Example (movies, concerts, tv shows, etc.)

2) Evaluate your talents and try to explore your interests (painting, poetry, song writing, reading). If you can focus yourself on something you enjoy then that will help you cope

3) Do some physical activities that you might enjoy (hiking, running, jogging, sports)

4) Discover your faith (attend religious services or sit with people that can console you with open arms). Believe me, a lot of people "do" care about you

Back when I was depressed and low, I visited local museums and started painting/sketching which helped me get better.

From that point I learned to be independent and respectful for what was granted to me. I have a 2nd chance in life and I always feel happy that I've gone through the worst part of my life.

You are asking for help but seem unwilling to do any of the stuff that we know will help you. If one councilor doesn't work, you try another. It took 3 for me to find the one that helped.

awwh , i know how you feel . i feel the same way right now . i feel emotionally trapped . and for the last hour i have been crying .

just you have to stay strong and be the best you can be . God has a plan for you and everything happens for a reason . you just have to stay strong and keep your head held high . i know how you feel and its the worst feeling anyone could have .

dont cut yourself .. i have done that and in the ending it doesnt help you ; it backfires you . it may seem okay now but dont.

you just have to stay strong . and life is filled with obstacles and you have to overcome them .

It's very important for you to get professional help. If you don't, your problems are only going to get worse. You can meet with different counselors and find out which one makes you feel the most comfortable. You need to face your fears and get the help you need.

Are you depressed? See your doctor for treatment on your cuts, doctors are professional people and they can help you. You can always ask for another doctor for 2nd opinion.

Well when i feel like an emo ***, i usually rub one out. Trust me i feel a lot bettter afterwards! you should try it!
