I hate the sound of my shower?!
Question: I hate the sound of running water my shower makes, so loud, it freaks me out. But I can't turn it on and off over and over because I get freezing! Any good advice? Thanks :)

I know what you mean, I lived in a place where the shower made a loud freaky sound. Try to change (replace) the shower head, you can buy a new one at Wal-Mart or a Home Depot for cheap. It will make a world of difference!
You can even get the massage type of shower head too.

i think you should replace your showerhead. get one that lets your adjust the stream of water coming out so it's more gentle?

If you feel trapped within the loudness of the rushing water, maybe you could heat up the bathing area and do a spongebath or try to have loud music on to distract you from the noise of the water.

you hate the sound of running water but dont want to take a bath insteaad, try getting a gentle, quiet showerhead that might work.
