Are you scared of Death?!
Question: I'm not so much scared of my death as I am of my loved ones...
I cant imagine life after my parents are gone, and other family members. I figure if I die, theres either an afterlife, or I am just dead and I wont know any better.

Scared of death not really. It's part of our life cycle. It helps when you have something happy to think about... For example those loved ones that you lost already that you will hopefully be reunited with.
I'm more sad about death than scared. As many said it's about the people I would leave behind. Sad that they would be greiving for me.
I have come close to it before so I suppose I am not really scared of death. I think what bothers me is that there won't be anything afterwards. I am an aethiest so I don't believe in Heaven and Hell and all that. I don't believe I will be reunited with loved ones. I think it's something people believe because they are too afraid of the concept of there being nothing after death.
