Why is it called fear of flying...it's fear of dying;) All of a sudden, you're forced to contemplate it, b/c you kind of give up control when stepping into an airplane.
The pilots are extremelly well trained to handle everything. The planes nowadays almost fly themselves. Everything has 2 backups..so the possibility of something happenin is remote. You have a huge chance of car accident, compared to plane stuff.

DON'T WORRY! What I tell myself..I'm n God's hands when flying, worrying is pointless since God is in control and watching over me. Relax, have a drink and enjoy the sight (or movies..if you watch back to back movies and have some drinks...you won't know when you've landed, chica;)

Have a wonderful flight!

you can take dramine and that will make you sleep all the way I went to russia and took 2 and sleep the whole time

Cough syrup : It has alcohol and sleepy drugs in it.
That is why most, or alot of peoples drink before or on/in a an aircraft compartment.
The fear is a control thing. You have no control over the rising or falling of the aircraft so you project a fear into it.
If you have anxiety, there are prescriptions for that, some work, some do not.
Drink two shots or ounces of Nyquil, Adult, it is the same as a shot of 80% proof alcohol. You do not want to become inebriated as that could give cause to ban you from the flight, you do want to be calm, this can be done many ways, many more without drugs or inebriates.
Motion Sickness tabs that stick behind the ear may help also as the fear may be an actual physical reaction to motion.
Do both.
Get a motion sickness tab, they are for boats, plains, trains and automobiles, and drink a shot,or two, of a cough syrup.
All is over-the-counter and almost as safe as flying is.

I like to take Calms Forte. It's all natural, it TOTALLY relaxes you, and is non addictive.

To be on the safe side there is a all natural drug for anxiety called Calms Forte you can fined it in your local health food store.
