Question About Dreams. I'm Just Curious?!

Question: Have you ever had a dream that you wished was real. Like something that you wanted in real life and got in your dream. But then when you wake up you're like, 'oh man... it was just a dream,' and then you're mad for a while. Has this ever happened to anyone?

Yep, plenty of times. I'll be having this wonderful dream about getting something I really wanted, or someone I really like suddenly liking me, and everything is going great...then my alarm clock goes off for school, and I wake up. Pretty much, whenever that happens to me, don't do anything that day to irritate me otherwise you're pretty much screwed...

yes =[

no but i had a dream when i was young,a star fish tried TO KILL ME ;(

Yes.

I had a dream once about a life completely different than the one I've lived. In the dream I thought my "real" life was the "dream" and was wondering "am I insane that I would dream up that when this life is so good?". When I woke up back into "real" life I was mightily confused.

It made wonder if there wasn't something alternate universes and that I had somehow tapped into the mind of my alternate self for a short while and saw his life.

ya all the time

Yeah, and that's how the stages of life seem to go, too. We outgrow childhood, and the longing to go back to it is much like longing to go back into a dream. Some of us outgrow religious comfort, others outgrow fairytale notions of soulmates, and each growth throws us out of our warm beds and ends our dreams. We have to remember that most of them weren't real to start with. Good childhoods probably weren't exceptional, but we always seem to add sugar to the recipe when looking back on them. The "those were the days" sentiment doesn't seem to hold much truth.

I wanted to be a millionaire(who probably wouldn't want that?) , but that isn't all that realistic in a way. -Super Steve
