manic depression is just another (older) name for bipolar disorder. it was probably that.

manic depressant? means the same thing as bipolar.
cyclothymic - mild high, mild low
Cyclothymia. Its like a very minor version of bipolar disorder.
Manic or you could be bi-polar with rapid cycling.
seasonal affect disorder or something like that, maybe? SAD is the acronym, i know.
