I am a suicide attempt veteran. 8 overdoses and 2 wrist slashes. But I am still alive, and very physically healthy.
Do you take Geodon and Seroquel? These are antipsychotics. Someone very close to me ODed on my olanzapine, and initially she fell into a deep sleep. Then, when she woke up in hospital, she had a three-day psychosis. The worst I have ever seen in my life. And, to make things worse, she was incontinent, couldn't eat, had severe Parkinsonism (includes severe shaking of the hands), was COMPLETELY incoherent (could not talk English, just made jabbering sharp noises that sounded like half-words), had to be restrained many times and was in a constant state of terror.
You DON'T want this. I saw it and I was nearly committed due to the severe trauma of seeing it happen to someone so close to me.
Suicide is exceedingly difficult; I've seen people who have tried to hang themselves, and have failed; they have whole-body spastic paraplegia.
Why don't you ask your doctor...tell them you are trying to kill yourself and want to get it just right.

No, you don't need to know because you might not go to the ER if you did know. Go NOW.
Killing yourself is not the solution! No matter what way! Just get help!
Call the local ER and ask to speak to a nurse. Tell the nurse what you are thinking. Then go to the ER. Have someone drive you.
This is a tough time of the year for many. There is not anything wrong with talking about things with someone.

1st of all the hospital, because if you have an overdose then you MIGHT be fine after visiting the doctor after it, then a week or so later when you've decided your life is good, then it can kill you by your liver.
But before commiting this selfish act, why not think about what your future holds? What would your mum think? Your dad? Anybody in your family. This is going to cause them so much grief, think about how you can change everyone you knows life for the WORST. Just so that you are "happy."
Don't try to kill yourself, you'll regret it. Nothing is worth killing yourself over - nothing. You may hate your life or yourself right now but it will get better. By dying, you will miss out on so many happy times in the future - spending time with friends and family, having your own family, traveling, laughing, adventures. The world isn't all evil. Even though you may think that no one will care - people do care and they will be really sad, devastated, and hurt that you killed yourself.
Some people think that you automatically go to hell for killing yourself. I can't say whether or not this is true because I don't know but why take the risk?
You need to get some help, you shouldn't be feeling this way. Call 911, tell someone, or go to the hospital pronto. You might need some counseling, TLC, and possibly some medication. I had a seritonin imbalance and had to take serotonin pills for a while - the imbalance was making me depressed. Those pills saved my life and my sanity.
Call suicide helpline and ask this question to them please . They will deal with you ...

usually for most or many drugs you need to take an ammount that is many times the ordinary therapeutic dose to obtain a lethal dose.
many suicide attempts fail leaving the person very ill often permanently.

I would hazard a gues that it'll just make you ill and not kill you, as they don't sound that much over the therapeutic dose. Depends on whether or not you want to spend the night throwing your guts up, as thats what the serequel will definitly do to you, and most likely before any lethal damage is done.
On the other hand you could try and get some help, see somebody about your thoughts, just give getting better a shot. Try it, it may work, but give it a chance first.
Wait, don't cie just yet, do something crazy first. Maybe you'll find a reason to live on the way. Don't die until you've tried everything and seen everyone. Take care of kids, if you don't like it, do rock climbing, just try a little of everything, maybe you just need to find your reason. Once you're sure there's nothing left to do, drown.
