Getting rid of depression?!

Question: Every so often, at night, I suddenly get very, very depressed.

I just feel so unwanted at times and think that nobody cares about me at all.

And I think about everything there is outside in the world, and how I'm missing out on all of it.

I feel like I'm a waste of life, and I can't do anything about it. How do I stop this terrible depression?

When you feel depressed find something positive to do, change bad habits.

Be around people that love and want you.

Work on your depression before it works on you.

Best of luck.

Big question ...small answer ..

Breath in !!!!
Breath out!!!!

Chuff me your still alive and have a chance to change the world and you !!!!

Wanting yourself is what matters.

The world cannot give you what you seek. You are what you seek.

Your life is not a waste, if you can recognize and use that perspective.

if you're trying to skip your dinner or trying to lose weight, you might be having a mood swing at night and that the time when depression comes.
are you being stressful lately? christmas time, end of the year stress?
you can try to eat some fruits at night to lift your mood up a bit, or start taking St. John wort.

see a councellor

i like my antidepressants, they arent for everyone but they worked really well for me

good luck

well i was the same a few years back and im warning you do not leave it as it is because i did that and in september i went mad and got sectioned and put on anti-psycotic tablets. and i dont think talking will do you much good, if i was you i would get some anti-depressants

Been there, done that, not fun! I'm really sorry you're feeling this way. The best thing to do is to tell your guardians about it and consider seeing a therapist which will lead to a psychiatrist. They can put you on medication to help you and you'll feel like a whole other person! I'm currently on Zoloft... man, it can do wonders ;). I was so depressed & anxious that I missed two months of school and was in this hospital program...so just do what's right and don't ignore it!
Feel better<3

One of the latest discoveries for depression is to have a diet high in Omega 3. So eat fish 3 times a week especially salmon and the fish which is higher in Omega 3 Eggs contain a little and you can buy the tablets but they aren't as good as the fish because they don't have all the other vitamins and minerals that are good for you. They say if you do this depression should start to go away in a week or 2.

Go see your doctor asap. I'm sorry to hear you're feeling like this. I've been there too. No one could say anything to make me feel better. My husband gave me the kick up the backside I needed to go and see a doctor and I've never looked back. Having been on anti depressants for a year, I decided just before christmas to say to my doctor that I was ready to stop them. I have been gradually weaned off them and now I'm feeling just fine. Do something about it now, you need to help yourself!
